How do we communicate with each another? Technology has opened up so many different channels, but none of them compare to what we’ve done since the beginning of time: communicating face-to-face through our voice, our face, and our body.
It’s personal, authentic, intimate even, and far more natural and satisfying than typing, swiping, or picking emojis. This is how we were meant to communicate; how we have been able to work together as a species to overcome all challenges. Face-to-face is how we make friends, close business deals, and inspire real change.
Of course, that’s also very different from how we interact with computers right now. It would be nice we could deliver the human touch everywhere, but all too often it appears infeasible. Modern technology offers significant advantages to cost, availability, and scalability. Can we teach our computers to communicate more like we do?
Perhaps we need to capture some of the magic of the face-to-face interaction and offer something that is optimally in tune with our native talents.
This is the vision and premise of Clevertar.
